WHAT EVER happened at birth can be integrated ....

Check out: www.beba.org, www.wondrousbeginnings.com, www.myrnamartin.com, www.healyourimprints.com.

We have a long way to go to get this information into the mainstream that is so controlled by the medical system who is so disregardful of the needs of the human baby.

The real work IS in the hospital ... that is where most women give birth. Women and babies need ... desperately ... for the medical profession to engage with them compassionately and gently--- ESPECIALLY when they are doing life-saving measures. And, when that's not possible we have the knowledge and techniques to support the mother and baby to heal and connect.

Whatever one's birth experience, the challenge and positive (the shadow and the gift) is to embrace one's baby's birth and be with them in understanding, integrating, and living their life.

The website www.eheart.com has a lot of good info for cesarean born people.Baby Keeperhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/13771156154070579302noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-37709909.post-30160801776494726342007-12-24T16:17:00.000-06:002007-12-24T16:17:00.000-06:00Thank you for sharing this. It was very difficult for me to make my c-sections still meaningful and I had to fight to connect with my babies.

Now, I am not just a homebirth advocate, I find myself pushing for hospital rights as well. There are actually OB/GYN's in my area that won't take you if you want a doula! It seems that every time we take one step forward, we take two steps back!Blasphemous Homemakerhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/01716335760006869010noreply@blogger.com
